This course helps participants learn the fundamental concepts of social media and digital marketing. After learning the basic concepts, they will be able to help the company to create a basic marketing strategy and develop a solid marketing plan to help drive traffic to the company website.

Prerequisites

- Participants should be computer-literate with a sound working knowledge of the Windows/Mac operating system. 

- Participants will need to create personal social media accounts for Facebook, Instagram and YouTube before course commencement.

Equipment required

Participants access a designated link to the online course via their own laptops with Wi-Fi connectivity.

Assessment format

3-4 person group presentation of a digital marketing assignment will be assessed

Certification requirement

Completion certificate will be issued to participants who satisfy the following requirements: 1) Attendance of at least 8 of the 10 course lessons; 2) A Pass in the final course assessment
