DM101: Digital Marketing Fundamentals

As the market grows and businesses face a significant skills shortage, digital marketers are in high demand, and enjoy a rich variety of opportunities and competitive compensation. Companies now realise how beneficial the internet and digital platforms are. Digital marketing reaches a wider audience, and allows companies to scale their business further, and generate more revenue.

This foundation course of digital marketing provides participants the mastery of digital marketing skills and keep them one step ahead of industry trends, no matter what sector they work in.

Dive into the world of digital marketing while gaining hands-on experience developing and implementing their own social media campaign

Explore the ins and outs of digital marketing strategy, competitor research, personas, and branding, before creating and launching content of their own design

Learn how to analyse their campaign results and effectively communicate their findings and recommendations to colleagues and stakeholders

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites or prior experience in digital marketing or tech required.

Equipment required

Mac or PC with an internet connection.

Canva, Instagram and several Google Apps such as Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides.

Assessment format

A completed portfolio project that instructor will review.

Certification requirement

Completion certificates will be issued to participants who satisfy the following requirements: 1) Attendance of at least 5 of the 6 course lessons; 2) A Pass in the final course assessment
